Greg and MJ Sept. 5, 2005, on a date
We met at Maggie McFly's in Waterbury, Conn., in September of 2004, and the attraction was immediate. We talked for several hours about everything, had finger food and did all the things that you are not suppose to do on a "first date," like talk about politics, religion, etc.
The year 2004 was magical for many reasons. In addition to meeting each other (falling in love, traveling and learning together), the Boston Red Sox swept the Series to win their sixth ring (second only to the New York Yankees) ending 86 years of frustration for Sox fans worldwide. We were in Quebec City the day after the sweep, for our first "away" trip, and this magical city proved as romantic as promised (and I didn't need to be in front of a television for the World Series).

We are blessed to be together. We share many of the same interests, but we do not have to be on the go all the time. Quiet time reading, cooking, or watching a movie are all enjoyable past-times, but traveling is still a big thrill for us.
